Wage Adjustments - Second Vancouver Offer

Listed Below are the City's proposed wage increases. Information regarding which of these positions are excluded, non union such as Budget Analyst, is not included in the settlement offer.

For context pay grades start at 13 ($17.21 - $20.17 / hour).

4. Wage Adjustments (City and Parks only)


The Employer and the Union agree that the following wage adjustments will be effective on 2008 July 01. All such adjustments will be on a step to step basis.

Pay grade 26 ($29.07 - $34.34 / hour) to pay grade 27 ($30.32 - $35.84 / hour).

Pay grade 27 ($30.32 - $35.84 / hour) to pay grade 28 ($31.62 - $37.36 / hour).

Pay grade 28 ($31.62 - $37.36 / hour) to pay grade 29 ($32.93 - $38.95 / hour).

*Pay Grade 34 is $40.66 - $42.39 - $44.23 - $46.14 - $48.10 (2006 April 01 rates).

This is a new pay grade not in 2003 - 2006 Collective Agreement.

The Employer and the Union agree that where a wage adjustment is made, it shall not be used as the basis for argument or as comparison criteria to alter the classification or value of any other classification. The Pay Plan will be revised and renumbered to take into account that existing Pay Grades 30, 32, and 33 are no longer required and have been removed.
