Re: Mediator Brian Foley's Recommendation for Settlement
As all members are aware, the Mediator, Brian Foley is expected to release his recommendations for settlement to the parties on October 8, 2007.
Once we have received his recommendations we will be making them available to our members as soon as possible.
Your bargaining committee will be making a recommendation to accept or reject the mediator's recommendations. We also will be scheduling information meetings and voting times, dates and locations later in the week of October 8, 2007.
Important: Because of the short turn around time we will not be mailing the recommendations out, so you should monitor the CUPE 15 website (www.cupe15.org) for times of meetings and voting arrangement or stay in touch with Strike Headquarters and CUPE 15. We will also distribute information through Strike Headquarters and the CUPE 15 office when it is available.
